SOCIAL MEDIA EDITOR (REMOTE/VOLUNTEER)
Hermanx Resist Press is seeking a Social Media Editor who is immersed in the digital media and social media world, has connections to different communities, and would like to work with us on our different projects, including our main HRP site, Poems & Numbers, and our different chapbook and themes issues.
We’re searching for someone who is excited by new and existing social media platforms, would like to grow our social media presence, and is looking for experience working on social media and marketing. In this position, you will
- Post to our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other platforms at least 1x daily & respond to audience.
- Host FB live poetry readings and Twitter chat 1x /month
- Check in monthly with editors to set goals
ASSOCIATE EDITORS AND PROJECT EDITOR FOR CHAPBOOK COMPETITION FOR HRP (REMOTE/VOLUNTEER)
We are seeking an associate editor who is understands our mission and vision, knows how to edit and has publishing experience, gets our multi-focused agenda and want to be part of our team of brujxs and editors. This role is all about working to build our reach and being the point person for our projects. You will solicit submissions and content from writers and artists and cross-publish with other sites. You will promote our different projects and find opportunities to promote our call outs and new issues, write copy for promotional use and assist with outreach. Typically this can be 1-4 hours a week.
Universe reader for Poems & Numbers(REMOTE/VOLUNTEER)
Using astrology or tarot cards (open to other types readings divination), you would write a monthly piece as guidance in what exactly the universe is telling us for the month. You are respectful to different practices and do not appropriate outside of your cultural heritage. You understand the focus and mission of HRP and keep this in mind as you do your thing.
