MEDIUM LIGHT WEIGHT CHIPBOARD 32pt (point) – .032″ inch thickness = .81mm = about 10 sheets stiff copy paper.
These are not as porous as wood when painting and collaging. You can apply a layer of background paper or paint, gesso, or start your project directly on it.
A layer of gesso would be a good idea to prepare your board.
